As HR Manager, I help people to work within our policies and procedures to ensure we do things right first time, we act fairly and reasonably and we are consistent in our approach. The HR service supports our schools and central team to achieve what they want to achieve whilst staying within the law and operating with best practice in mind. HR combines strategic visioning and the operational, day to day queries and casework.
My key areas of responsibility include:
• Development and implementation of the Trust-wide HR strategy in line with agreed Trust vision, values and strategic direction
• Operational and strategic leadership and management of Trust HR service (central team and schools) covering employment life cycle
• Development and implementation of effective HR policy and procedural framework
• Provision of robust professional advice and clear recommendations for action in all aspects of HR policy and practice for schools and central team. (structures and growth, employee relations, talent management and resourcing)
