Hours: 37 over 5 days. Full time, permanent. Job share would be considered.

Our aim in HR is to work with our Head teachers, Senior Leadership teams and School Business Managers supporting them to successfully manage HR within their schools as well as across the central team function.


You will be supported by an HR Manager and Employment Solicitor to take on the first line of the HR service provision across our Trust.

Your core aims will be to build good working relationships with our schools so that you can effectively:

  • Deliver the front line HR service to schools

  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries

  • Liaise with payroll and pensions

  • Support the recruitment and induction process

  • Administer KPI data

  • Complete statutory annual and termly reports; facilities time, earnings, vacancy etc.

  • Produce letters in accordance with the relevant policy such as outcome, invites, maternity etc.

  • Manage the diary planning for the HR Team, including arranging panels for hearings

  • Ensure accurate data input and reports on holidays, leave of absence and sickness absence (schools and central team)

  • Provide administrative support at meetings

  • Organise the HR Network and Trade Union meetings (location, attendance, minutes, agendas and communication)

  • Create and maintain HR files for all central staff

  • Complete accurate and timely payroll and pensions administration and be the point of contact for payroll queries
