Flying High Partnership

About Us

The Flying High Partnership consists of two distinct parts, firstly the Flying High Trust which is the family of schools that we are accountable for and they form our family of schools. Secondly, Flying High Futures which is all of the CPL we offer for schools across our designated region – development for all school based staff, regardless of role to ensure they really make every day count for the children in their school.

About

Our Partnership

The Flying High Partnership:

The Trust was founded in 2012 and has steadily grown to 33 schools in the primary phase across Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Our mission statement defines everything our central team and schools strive for every day: “Working together, relentless in our pursuit of excellence to create the best schools in the universe, where we make every day count.”

The vision and ethos of the Partnership centres on sustainable improvement – schools joining the Partnership do so to become the best schools they can be and to support others on this journey. Over time we have developed our strategies, systems, processes and capacity to ensure that together we are continuously improving. Centred on meaningful partnership, our schools focus on collaboration and internal support whilst always remaining outward facing. We all share a common purpose and vision – the key is to ensure our schools retain their uniqueness and ethos that enables them to meet the needs of their communities. This is why our motto is very much, adopt, adapt and fly. We are all in this together and have a collective responsibility to children across our schools. We believe nothing should be left to chance and that is why we believe in the delivery of a school led professional continuum from outstanding teacher training to outstanding CPD developing inspirational leaders for our schools.
