Recruitment specialists, Long Term Futures, gift to ‘help the children enjoy their learning.’

Children and staff at Poolsbrook Primary Academy feel like Christmas has come early following a donation of £500 from Long Term Futures (LTF) recruitment company, who has purchased lots of new learning resources for children.

Louise Parker is Head Teacher at Poolsbrook Primary Academy, and she explained that the donation was given to support the partnership that LTF has with The Flying High Trust, the school’s multi-academy trust, and the work that LTF have been undertaking with Poolsbrook Primary Academy.

She said, “A huge thank you to Jamie Leverington and the team at LTF! The big box of resources that were delivered today are amazing and I have lots of very excited children. We have a great relationship with LTF and look forward to developing this partnership further in the future. All of the new equipment will be used in our lovely outdoor provision spaces and will certainly support children’s learning and enjoyment.”

The £500 gift was used to purchase a wide selection of early years resources from Cosy which will support the development of Poolsbrook’s outdoor provision. Items included mud pie mixers, a number ladder, counting bowls and frames.

Mrs Jackie Marsden is a Nursery Nurse at the academy based on Cottage Close, and she said, “What a welcome surprise, and one which will go a long way to enhance the outdoor provision for the children at Poolsbrook.”

Mr Jamie Leverington is Business Development Director at LTF, and he said that they were pleased to help. “’We at LTF believe in giving something back to our partner schools and when we spoke with Louise about resources within the Early Years Foundation Stage unit, -we jumped at the chance to offer what we could. Hopefully the resources go a long way to help the children enjoy their learning.”

Pupil Lila is in Reception class and said, “I am very excited to play with all the new things!”
