The English Hub offers extensive free training relating to early reading, writing and phonics. This high quality offer is delivered by our literacy specialists, experts and English/Reading leaders and takes place via a range of methods such as webinars, podcasts and face to face events. They are usually targeted towards English and Early Reading leads in schools.

Our monthly newsletter is a must for Headteachers, English, Reading and Writing Leads to support the leading and teaching of phonics and early reading in school and is part of the light touch support offer.
It provides an input from our Hub lead, Katy, and information on a range of opportunities from both the English Hub and other trusted organisations such as UKLA, Inspire and the National Literacy Trust. Every edition also includes an Author in the Spotlight, featuring a children’s author.

English Hub Annual Conference
Our Annual Conference is a highlight in our calendar. It takes place at Eastwood Hall and provides a full day free training opportunity for Literacy Leaders to develop and deepen knowledge on a particular theme. Hear from key notes who bring up to date research and evidence that informs practice and share with peers & literacy specialists.
