Flying High Trust Arts Event 2019 - creativity in action...

Children from across the partnership came together to create sensational art work. Schools worked together to create collective art pieces themed around the strength of each individual school and the shared values across the trust.

The young artists worked on "jigsaw" pieces themed around the seven values of the trust - aspiration, confidence, creativity, enjoyment, perseverance, pride and responsibility. Children created their own designs and identified the materials they needed before working together on the day to bring their designs to life.

The children shared their artwork and why they had chosen to represent the value in a particular way and what the value meant in their school.

Jenni Dunne from the central team said, "It was brilliant to see the children working together, so passionate about art, their school and working with other children. The completed pieces will be on display at the end of year Flying High Trust Awards 2019, taking place at The Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on 11 July. This is the perfect showcase of the wonderful creations. A huge thank you to all staff, governors and families for supporting, to Haddon and Bilsthorpe for hosting and most of all to the children for embracing the opportunity and having such fun."
